A True Story … It was February 2011, another frosty Canadian winter day. I was sitting watching TV with my lady and my two boys. My wife have been working on her behalf recipe book for weeks and I could see frustration on the face. So I asked her the concepts bothering her.

She informed me she finished her recipe book in Microsoft Word format and today she wished to publish it on Amazon.

At this time I knew nothing about Amazon KDP or Kindle devices. She explained that if she could earn extra money selling her book for an ebook then perhaps she can more and more difficult off to devote to the boys. She also complained she was so tired and completely fed up Amazon rejecting her Word document due to formatting. So, she had tried many different software – free and paid, but nothing gave worthwhile formatting results. Trying to publish on Amazon was difficult for her.

Then she said “honey, you create software as part of your day job right? Then why can’t you produce a simple ebook writer/creator that I can use to build and publish my ebook?” I thought about this and thought we would do some quick research into creating ebooks and the fact that was available on the market.

After a short time I chose to help my significant other fulfill her dream (and earn some brownie points – knowing what I mean ). That’s when my Ultimate eBook Creator was ‘born’ and the rest is history. Fast forward to today… UEC may be an incredible success! The sales from UEC have enabled my lady to quit her normal work to be a fulltime mom in our two boys and also a children’s book writer. She has published two recipe ebooks and also over 40 children’s ebooks also on Amazon KDP using UEC and earns a really nice a second income.
