Salehoo just might be the most controversial wholesaler / dropshipper list on the planet!
There are eBay resellers who swear Salehoo's a very important thing since sliced bread to find suppliers, while others who condemn it - but who's telling the simple truth? By the end want to know , you'll have the response!
In this review I'm going to walk you through the options, the good and bad points of Salehoo and let you know honestly what I looked into it… So please read on to find out the simple truth out about Salehoo :-).
When I joined Salehoo in December 2012, I wasn't anticipating be good. In fact, I had been left so disappointed by the other attempts I had created to find low cost and reliable suppliers to source items from then sell on line that I was ready to give up altogether...
What Exactly is Salehoo?
Salehoo just isn't a supplier itself – it's actually a directory approximately 8,000 wholesalers, drop-shippers, liquidators and manufacturers. The company is predicated in New Zealand and many of their suppliers are perfectly found on the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and China.
It's a power tool that online resellers use find and compare suppliers and products (you can look by product name, brand, category, etc.). Salehoo really doesn't sell anything – consider it as a sourcing tool for resellers. It is actually quite a lot like using a wholesale version of eBay.
Once you've found suppliers for you want on Salehoo, you employ the Salehoo interface to get hold of the supplier and purchase directly from them.
There are gone for good 75 different kinds of products (click this link to preview them) – including electronics, computers, clothes, furniture, books and entertainment. Salehoo features a database around 8,000 suppliers (since March 2016, up from about 6,300 when I first joined), which have been checked and reviewed by Salehoo's staff to stop scammers getting back in. There are also reviews/ratings for each and every supplier, compiled by Salehoo members with traded together.
How Much Does it Cost and What do I Get?
Access to your Salehoo directory costs $67 per year. There are a few upgrades and add-ons likewise - such as 'Online Store Builder', the 'turn-key' software to create your own website from a template ($27+/month) and Salehoo's 'Online Selling Tactics' ($247, 1 time fee) that is a tutorial course and blueprint for selling online (the main objective is on eBay selling and setting up your own personal e-commerce stores).
Both of such are good, but you are optional extras - there isn't any obligation to acquire either. Salehoo incorporates some tutorials and also the forums helps in advice too.
If you wish (free) extra training and tutorials about selling on eBay and internet-based, I know which you could get some worth over $80 free of charge – please read on to gather more information.
What's Included for $67? (My Walkthrough of Salehoo)
Salehoo is more than just a listing of suppliers. The core can be a searchable directory of suppliers and products, but it also incorporates the 'Market Research Labs' tool, that's designed to uncover profitable niches. There's also email support, a tutorial series (including instructional videos) as well as an active members forum that's packed with advice.
Salehoo pays to tool for locating suppliers for specific products, helping you to search known as the product – e.g. "Ralph Lauren shirt" or "samsung galaxy". You can also utilize this tool to match suppliers of the identical product by price, location, reliability/reviews, etc. This is different to most directories that can just offer you some company names and speak to numbers. Salehoo also allows you to call the supplier directly through their internet site, which can be more secure than email.
I can't help but recommend you give the search and comparison comes with a try (click this link to see).
And I must admit I was actually impressed using the Market Research Labs tool. One with the hardest things about selling on the web is finding a profitable niche, and also this tool has access to some really useful data that reduced the problem a lot.
Can I Make Money with Salehoo?
Salehoo carries a lot of suppliers that will sell you recently one single item at very competitive trade prices. In fact, I found that a majority of of the suppliers I contacted had minimum orders of just 1-3 units and remained as cheap, which has been great as I really was averse to risk in the beginning.
There can be a problem though and it's the same for everyone directories and suppliers not only Salehoo: not all on the items listed are cheap enough to trade profitably on eBay. In some extreme cases, I've been aware of goods selling at a lower price on eBay than by using a wholesaler.
But you shouldn't be disappointed or else everything is cheap enough to offer on eBay; it's a similar with the rest of the directories too. Salehoo is really a good directory and you will probably find many profit-making products should you put in the effort to find them out.
I found that should you do research – and do not go for the merchandise that everyone else is selling, but accessories and related products instead – then you can acquire some really profitable deals! The trick is usually to research and discover a profitable niche without much competition then you'll find tons of items that can be sold for an income even on eBay, or elsewhere.
Research isn't very difficult too because of their Market Research Labs and search/comparison tools, and in the event you get stuck just email their customer services and they'll send you a summary of good reasonably priced suppliers (I do that every the time).
Once you will get the hang of it you'll be able to expand into more niches. It's easy money when you are aware what to do, but there's that initial learning curve.

Is Salehoo Worth It?
Salehoo is just not perfect; not every one in their suppliers sell at low enough prices to make a return on eBay…
However, there are gone 8,000 suppliers many with minimal minimum orders selling at very competitive prices – certainly low enough to generate money online – you merely have to do some investigation to find them (or get Salehoo's support services people to help – I recommend you play them when you join). Also, the tutorials can be better than they was previously, and still I can demonstrate where to get $80 of eBay and internet-based selling tutorials free – scroll down to determine more.
One key factor is that Salehoo membership is also a good deal cheaper than other similar goods like WorldWide Brands and Doba. I admit that WorldWide Brands is often a bit better (yet not much), but costs nearly $497 – almost 7.more a much as Salehoo! And Doba is usually a lot more expensive than Salehoo at $49 per month.
So yes – I firmly think that Salehoo may be valued at buying. A lot of 'directories' are scams but Salehoo is good for real and an amazing bargain – it is simply a bit rough throughout the edges. A problem I can assist you to fix…
My Little Experiment...
For example, when you buy Salehoo for $67 and commence selling Clarion DXZ275MP CD/MP3 players for $137 each (the actual price on eBay), that happen to be currently from Salehoo for less than $79 you will make money of $58 for every single sale. That means Salehoo could have paid for itself after a lot less than 2 sales.
How Fast Will I Start Making Money and How Much?
Salehoo features a lot of dropshippers, who you are able to start working with and listing items on eBay quickly. Over 80% of the suppliers sell internationally, so wherever you are you are able to be operational within a couple of days or weeks.
If you join the 'Online Stores' upgrade likewise, you could potentially set up an e-commerce site and initiate trading in several hours..
